Parkinson's Disease and Reflexology

October 12th, 2011 we were invited to do a  reflexology presentation with the local support group coping with the daily concerns of Parkinson's disease.

As in all our presentations, our objectives were to inform and educate others concerning the many health benefits of reflexology. Our talk was geared to how Reflexology might alleviate some of the many symptoms Parkinson's suffers endure.  Reflexology's four main benefits include relaxation, reduction of stress, increase of circulation, and balancing of all body systems.  Some of the many symptoms of Parkinson's that reflexology may improve include constipation, depression and anxiety, posture, and sleep.
We provided new insight for many concerning this natural healing therapy with several Parkinson's sufferers signing up for a series of reflexology treatments.
